These experiences can definately occur within the teacher's building.
How are field observations and field trips conducted for the student who is a full time teacher? Do these experiences occur within the teacher's building or is the teacher expected to take a personal day and visit another school?

I can't find where your question is in the ning, so I'll it answer here. You asked "Does this mean all courses are fully online for the Instructional Technology degree?" It is little confusing - we have an additional location for the program - fully online. The fully online version of the program is designed for students who can't commute to any of our campuses or off-site locations because they live upstate NY or outsite NY. The tuition is set at $1450 which as you know is higher than UFT rates. We will continue to offer some, but not all, MSIT/UFT courses online at the UFT rate. Any one wishing to list 'online' as their campus, including greater NYC area, will be able to take all courses online and the $1450 tuition for 'online' students will be associated with all the courses. I did the math and total cost of the Masters at the UFT rates even with the residency of the 2 courses on campus is less than taking the fully online program. However, anyone wishing to join the fully online program may. We had insufficient enrollment this spring in the sections set up for online - therefore they have been cancelled. We will be recruiting agressively this spring for courses for the summer. Hope this clarifies your question.
